no, i suppose it doesn't
we used to live on opposite ends of the country and only got to see each other during breaks and summers
last christmas i got kidnapped and memorywiped by hera and we were separated for seven months though
back home she was heading to boston to check on some stuff. and then we ended up here

He broke all of his fingers in the middle of a 1v1 because he was keeping my ice away. I think he broke his some of his fingers twice.

he knows it takes a while for bones to heal doesn't he?

Normally yes.
The school nurse has a quirk that lets people heal a lot faster.

huh. we have healers, too, but it still can take some time
...so wait are you trying to tell me you developed a crush on the guy because he broke his fingers to prove a point to you?

That's not why I like him, but that is what happened.
He helped my accept that my fire was mine and not my father's.

important. you have to learn to own your own strengths even if they came from somewhere else
they manifest and can be used differently
for good or bad
you just happened to choose better

I thought I could just use my ice to fight.
Hopefully it stays that way. Better than my old man, I mean.
Anyway that's probably why I liked Izuku to begin with.

one of the things I've learned is you can't always be afraid of your powers
you just learn to be scarier than they are
and considering what I know about your dad you're doing lightyears better anyway
why else do you like izuku?

[glaciers]

I wasn't afraid, I just didn't want my father to feel like he was responsible for any part of my success.

[Shouto is just the most spiteful boy, that's all.]

He's reckless and kind. It matters more to him that he's doing good in the moment than whatever consequences are going to hit him later.
