What? No, dude, look. [He points at Siren Island which is definitely just a blank spot on a blank piece of paper for Val.] This is the island those sirens were on. Minato and I went back later to explore.

... I believe this parchment is keyed into you. I see nothing on it, but you clearly can.

Are you kidding me? [This is asked toward the ceiling to someone they probably can't see. Thanks a lot, Mr. F.] It was a quest reward, I was kind of thinking it'd help us.

It can still help us. You simply have to go on more forest and ocean adventures. You can guide people with this map.

[expulsions]

You think? [He's still looking at the map, letting his fingers walk across the parchment.] This is the town. The island's over here. Those are the only places I've been so far. It's kind of a big map though.

[...hm...] Maybe it's written in invisible ink.

[promissum]

[He watches Percy's hand go across the paper.] Yes. Maybe it will fill itself out the next time you explore.

If it's invisible ink, why can you see it so easily?

...maybe. [That's actually a really good theory.] And I don't know. Maybe because it's my reward? There are things I can see at home that most people can't. It could be like that.

[promissum]

It's possible. Are demons usually about to see the things you do?

[expulsions]

Val, you're still the first demon I've actually met. [Hm.] Monsters can see through things, obviously, and some mortals can if they're gifted with the Sight. My mom can, and Rachel can, too. It's still not that common though.

[promissum]

Do you think someone with Sight would also be able to see what you're seeing on it?

[expulsions]

Maybe. [He's chewing his lip in thought.] I kind of wish Rachel was here. She might have a better idea of what's going on, but with everything happening with the oracles back home maybe not. At least it'd answer what people can and can't see.

You should see if anybody else can see what's on your map. I don't know much about invisible things.

Yeah, well, I don't even know who I'd ask. I'm open to suggestions but if you can't see it and I can, maybe I'm not supposed to share it with everybody yet.

Is that how things worked where you're from? Do you think it will eventually allow others to see it?

[expulsions]

...not exactly. The Mist was tricky like that. But we've already seen this place is weird in how things are done. I'll keep you posted though.
